Health-Related Absenteeism is one of the main causes of the reduction in corporate profitability.  When companies think about cutting costs, they often miss the issue of health-related absenteeism, and how it affects their bottom line.

When employees are absent, there is an “indirect cost” based on the reduction in productivity.
